Dear friends and colleagues,
It is with great pleasure that the Cyprus Dietetic & Nutrition Association (CyDNA) announces its 10th International Conference with the theme “Empowerment of Nutritional Science & Dietetics Profession in a Challenging World.” The conference will take place on the 22-25 of November, 2018 at Filoxenia Conference Centre in Nicosia. This year the conference will commence on the 22 of November in the afternoon with a panel discussion open to the public with emphasis on the Importance to the Dietetic Profession and the Impact to the Human Health of the FAD Diets. Food and Nutrition Resources exhibition will run concurrently with the conference.
Our goal is to ensure the complete success of our upcoming international conference. The 10th CyDNA conference is a leading forum for academic faculty, clinical dietitians,nutritionists, practitioners, research experts in food technology, nutrition and dietetics, business delegates, investors in Food & Nutrition sectors, young researchers and talented student communities from universities and research labs providing an ideal environment to share the latest innovations in the Nutrition and Dietetics research. Food, Nutrition and Dietetics is a subject of wide-ranging curiosity and importance. Nutritional science is the examination of how an organism is nourished, and combines the study of how nourishment affects personal health, population health, and planetary health. Nutritional science shelters a wide spectrum of disciplines. Whereas Dietetics is defined as “The art and science anxious with the guideline of the usual food and drink of a person as it narrates to health and hygiene, ration to sustain it in its presence, promoting growth, swapping loss, and providing liveliness”.
The organizing and scientific committee of the conference schedules the scientific program so as to offer variety and diversity of subjects in order to emphasize the role of the dietitian in the whole spectrum of health and community and the necessity to be considered an indispensable member of the health care team and the health care providers.
The three day conference covers subjects by an international and local faculty of experts. The subjects have been selected to give a broad and in depth overview of a number of contemporary and traditional topics in dietetics and nutrition.
The conference will offer CME/CPE hours.
